Visiting Groups
Burrells Farm invites groups to book a visit.
As part of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, we welcome educational visits from schools and other groups.
All visits are free, but must be arranged in advance, and must be for 8 or more people, for at least 2 hours.
We are happy to have Guides, Scouts, other youth groups, schools, colleges, university students, clubs and societies, or any other groups that are interested. We can offer facilities for field studies in meadowland, hedgerows, streams, and ponds. Also a guided tour of the Grade II listed cottage and outbuildings. The brick barn is available as a classroom or shelter for break-time. Or have a picnic in the garden or fields. Pond-dipping and nature walks can be arranged. At certain times of the year, lambs, chicks and seasonal produce are available for study. Our bantams and rare breed Portland sheep are always available on site.
