History
Burrells Farm is over 400 years old and is reputed to be the oldest house in Tadley. The pretty timber-framed farmhouse is thatched and still has some original wattle and daub panels. Historic features include a bread oven and various old barns. Burrells Farm now covers 8 acres, although it owned more land in the past. Over the years, it has been used for dairy cows, poultry, arable, PYO strawberries and market gardening.
An old photograph in a frame was found in one of the old barns, with a watercolour painting behind it. We do not know who it is or where the church in the painting is. If anyone recognizes either of them, please let us know!
