Meadows
Grazed by sheep and a haven for wildlife
We are very lucky to have a wide variety of flora and fauna on the farm. The fields contain a rich mixture of grasses, herbs and flowers. The many species of birds, include buzzards, wrens, huthatches, thrushes, marsh tits, coal tits and two types of woodpecker. The meadow flowers support many species of butterfly and other insects. Frogs and toads abound in the fields and spawn in the pond in spring.
Burrells Farm lies at the south-eastern tip of Tadley, backing onto tranquil countryside. The fields lie on a south-facing slope, and are bounded by mature hedges, small patches of woodland, and a tree-lined stream.
